Sound Reinforcement/ PA

Sound Reinforcement Equipment Augmenting a band's sound to make it louder, while balancing the instruments and vocals, is called sound reinforcement. As I'm sure you can appreciate, it's much more than just reinforcing the sound. It's focusing the band's music so that people hear the band at its best. The aim is to present the listener with an amplified yet natural sound.

My PA equipment allows me to service all of the needs of  local events. Whether it be spoken word, dance, or music productions, I have the gear and experience to do the job. If I cannot meet the required equipment needs, I am in contact with other companies which will be  able to meet them.

Locally in the past I have been involved with Salmon Fest, Canada Day Celebrations, BC Winter Games Opening and Closing Ceremonies, A Bite Of Campbell River, Concerts By The Sea, Municipal Elections, Backstage at the Tidemark, Carihi and Timberline Graduation Ceremonies, to name a few.

I've supplied professional sound reinforcement for many events in the Tidemark Theatre  since 1992. There are too many to list but highlights included: The Stampeders; Buffy St. Marie; The Quarrymen;  Dr. Hook; and Gary Fjellgaard, which led to me being his touring soundman until 1997. This exposed me to many great experiences including Merrit Mountain Music, Camrose Folk Festival, Canmore Country Festival, Craven, Dauphin, Havelock, and many more.

I also have experience with national acts as a monitor tech and/or systems tech with Nickelback, Big Sugar, Farmer's Daughter, Prairie Oyster, and many more.
